I stayed at the Exclusive Resorts in Costa Rica, outside of Liberia. It was excellent on all fronts. The villa was new and very well maintained. Great views from the villa on the hillside out over the water…. although not as great as the villas in Mexico (which were amazing). Made frequent use of the hot tub and pool at the villa. Staff at this resort were absolutely great .. very attentive and courteous. Access to great activities too.. golf course was a true experience: defies explanation and is worht the trip. Beach is accessible by golf cart and quiet. Proximity to the Four Seasons is a plus: can access it if you want, but have more privacy, which is nice. I would recommend this location highly for a peaceful vacation and a great way to have a luxurious home-base to experience Costa Rica from.. but don’t count on easy access to any towns .. 45 minute trip to any place: which is fine if you are expecting it, and are going to relax.
