“I would definitely recommend the Halkidiki Q Leading Experience because it allows you to explore a part of Greece you wouldn’t generally see. The thing I like about the entire Q Leading Experience program is that it entices you to go places you’ve been thinking about and it provides a great excuse to finally go.

My husband and I had an amazing time. We wanted to go to Greece and when Quintess, LRW announced the experience at the Danai Beach Resort it prompted us to plan the trip. We started in Athens, then drove to the Danai, and also visited Mykonos and Santorini. Driving in to Halkidiki you feel the remoteness of the location; it is very different than what we expected. There are mountains and trees, and then you get to the resort and you are right on the ocean. The resort is small and beautiful, intimate and quaint. Our suite overlooked the ocean and had a swimming pool. The personal attention at the Danai was great; everyone knew our names. There were only about 50 other people at the resort, which only had three restaurants, so during the five days we would recognize people in passing. While everyone there spoke English, there were very few other Americans.

The wine tasting part of the experience was perfect. The cute little cellar is in a cave right off of the resort and it was just my husband and me. We did the wine tasting at 6:00 p.m. on our first day and then went to dinner afterward. I am happy we did it at the beginning since the man who led it is also the Sommelier at the restaurant we ate at most and remembered the wines we liked. It made our casual dinners so special.
